I am new to Icinga2 and therefore I hope you will be kind with me. I checked the documents and the forums but could not find an answer to my question.
I would like to monitor a network with different hosts (access points of different products etc). I therefore would like to group the different hosts in different hostgroups. For example all access points of one wifi network (does not matter which product) or all access points of the same product (does not matter which network).
So far I configured two hosts and two hostgroups. The assign criteria in the hostgroup is the same. This does make sense but was the only chance to see if a host can be in several groups. Which is not the case. If I delete the second group (let's say group B) then I can see group A in the icingaweb2 dashboard and the two hosts assigned. But if I configure hostgroup A and B I can only see group B and two hosts assigned to group B.
Can a host be in more than one group?
