icinga2 cluster and custom check commands

Hi all,

Hopefully a simple one. I'm migrating our large Icinga installation over to Icinga2 and have the cluster running, and migrated configuration, but want to get an idea on the best approach to this.

We have various custom check commands that we've defined in /etc/icinga2/zones.d/global-templates/commands.conf so they are sync'd between the various cluster members of Icinga2. These custom checks included in the commands.conf where should they be placed?
I don't want to copy them to /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ as they'll get confused in with the package/default commands.
I want to put them somewhere (/etc/icinga2/zones.d/ possibly?) where I can reference them in the commands.conf and they will be sync'd between nodes.

Any suggestions, or is this slightly beyond the built-in Icinga2 sync and I need to manually keep this part in sync?

Thanks!
Andy
